Nacho Corral Jr. had the lead in this category for most of the year until he was sidelined for 3 months. B Flight "Player of the Year" is a wide open flight where there are several players ready to take their claim for this top spot this year. John Trueba will no doubt have to bring his "A" game to defend his titled for 2018.
Joe Puga had to finish strong to fend off Nacho Corral Jr. by 2.5 points and Sal Alcantar and Johnny Garza each by 4 points to win the B Flight "Sharpshooter Award." Joe Puga found the closest to the pin 22.5 times to lead all B Flight participants. His half point was attrributed to tying sweet Al Urenda on one occasion. Amigo Nation says, "that is why it is important to measure to the nearest 1/4 inch." Good luck Amigos, maybe next year it will be your turn to claim the title as B Flight "Sharpshooter."

Sweet Al Urenda started the year off with an index of 19.0 and finished off with a nice 16.5 to beat Mark Michelson by .4, less than a half of a stroke. Mark started the season with an index of 23.1 and finishing at 21.1 but unfortunately for Mark it was not enough to overtake sweet Al Urenda.
