Jaime Lopez Comes To Vegas To Play! Shoots Even Par At Boulder Creek Golf Course
The Vegas "A" Flight Champion Jaime Lopez
On one of the most incredible beautiful weekend imaginable, 30 Amigos Golf Club members enjoyed a two day gathering at Boulder Creek golf course in Boulder city, Nevada. With temperature hovering around 90 degrees and with a cool light soft breeze it was all about getting down to play some serious golf. The lay of the land was spectacular and there were many views that mesmerized the senses and made concentrating on the next shot difficult. Well, at least that was the excuses of many who didn't score very well.
All kidding aside, to those Amigos that for some reason or another couldn't join the "Amigos" this year in Vegas try to plan for it next year. You will not regret it. This year we were fortunate to enjoy very comfortable weather that suited playing golf fun. Amigo Nation says, the memories are not always about the game, but it also includes the camaraderie at the hotel and just plain hanging out with amigos.
"A" Flight Jaime Lopez shot and even par 72 to narrowly beat out Jose Ramirez by one stroke. Jose had a great round going two under par on the front nine. However, on the 11th hole Jose ran into major trouble and 5 putted triple bogeyed. Jose had one more bogey after that sealed his second place finish.

John took 3rd place by virtue of a tiebreaker followed by 4th place Angel Lopez and lucky to be there in 5th place Nacho Corral jr.
This year Vegas tournament "B" flight net champion is a stranger. It seemed like George Perez has only been able to show up to play with Amigos lately. However, his game hasn't been missing as he shot a low net score of 66. Amigos GC "OG" Ronnie Quesada was one stroke back taking 2nd place honor followed by new amigo Eric Lopez at net 69 and 3rd place. VP Hector Betancourt quietly shot a net score of 72 for fourth place honors and really new amigo Fidel Garcia finish the top 5 places with a very respectable net 73.
